Freehold Communities, one of the nation’s most vibrant and forward-looking developers of residential communities, has announced new sales and neighborhood activity at Miralon in Palm Springs. Vitality, the neighborhood of 93 Desert Modern homes by Lennar, which opened Fall, 2024, has 14 sales and five move-ins to date, with more sales activity weekly. Two additional builders are also active: Olea by PLC Communities recently began constructing 71 single-family homes, and Solace by Woodbridge Pacific Group will break ground soon with 25 homes. Miralon is Palm Springs’ eco-Modern, “agrihood” community, distinguished by community gardens, working olive groves and chic club facilities, all fashioned from a former golf course.
The latest lot sales totaled 189 among the three builders.
“The burst of sales at Vitality by Lennar demonstrates the increasing popularity of Miralon’s homes and sense of community,” said Brad Shuckhart, Freehold Communities, California Division President. “And two more highly respected homebuilders – Woodbridge Pacific Group and PLC Communities – breaking ground soon further validates Miralon’s unique concept: Homes that honor Palm Springs’ architectural heritage, in a sustainable masterplan with neighborhood gardens, olive groves and enticing club and other amenities.”
Lennar has completed two of 11 phases of its Vitality neighborhood. They are built among Miralon’s prime locations, bordered by parks and acres of olive groves. The 93 homes on 50-foot lots are in one- and two-story floorplans up to 2,937 square feet and four bedrooms. Lennar has sold 11 Vitality homes, including two in phase 3. Prices start in the upper $800,000s.
PLC Communities began construction in early April on its Olea neighborhood, with 71 single-family homes up to 2,812 square feet up to 4 bedrooms. Homes will begin sales this summer with a grand opening planned for fall. Prices are not yet announced.
Woodbridge Pacific Group (WPG), which also built Miralon’s popular Flair neighborhood (sold out), will break ground soon on Solace. These 25 homes are on 60-foot lots. Pricing, square footage and bed/bath count will be announced at a later date.
“Lennar is one of the largest and most respected homebuilders in the nation and we are thrilled to welcome its team to our community,” added Shuckhart. “Now, with PLC Communities and WPG adding their collections, Miralon is taking shape with an even wider mix of home choices.”

Lennar’s one-story homes in Vitality feature modern and low-maintenance layouts. Bedrooms thoughtfully take advantage of open-concept floor plans that combine the kitchen with the living and dining areas. The luxurious owner’s suites are set in private areas with access to en-suite bathrooms and roomy walk-in closets.
For more space, Lennar offers two-story layouts at Vitality. Bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms can be found off the foyers, leading to expansive open-concept floorplans. Luxurious and private owner’s suites are tucked into the back of the home. Additional bedrooms and versatile bonus rooms are on the second level.
And finally, Gallery at Miralon (by Gallery Homes) has just three homes remaining for sale among its 50 stunning Desert Modern residences on large 60’ lots with incredible mountain views. Each home includes solar energy, a private courtyard entry with private pool, and spacious indoor-outdoor living. Pricing for Gallery’s collection of homes is from the low $1,000,000s.
Freehold Communities is the developer of Miralon, one of the largest new “agrihoods” in the U.S. The masterplan will include 1,150 Modernist-inspired residences to harmonize with Palm Springs’ architectural heritage. A highlight of Miralon’s 309 acres is its conversion of a previously constructed 18-hole golf course into the working olive groves, U-pick gardens and walking trails. The Miralon Club is a private facility with two pools, a hot tub, a full-service bar, demonstration kitchen, yoga and fitness studio and Wi-Fi Café. Together, these amenities fulfill Freehold’s Vital Communities® approach toward healthy living and social engagement.
